I stayed at the most amazing place last weekend. My dad would have loved to see it so I painted the view for him seeing as it was his birthday and I needed the practice ;)

Beautiful! I can tell you've been trying out more brushes too - gives a great texture to the image :D

Love the light and atmosphere. Feel as though it would benefit from a little more picture adding either end to make a panoramic composition.

Thanks Bev! I agree, it didn't occur to me at the time because I was painting from a webcam shot I took of it but I took more photo's of the entire view so I should be able add more :D
